Where it started.
At HSS Enterprises, I supported Roofmart’s national NES sales event, bringing together communications, printed materials, event production and attendee experience. My role sat at the intersection of marketing, logistics and vendor coordination.
The problem to solve.
A national event has hundreds of details that need to arrive together: signs people can follow, badges they can wear, branded swag and promotional merchandise, and timely information about what is happening throughout the day. The challenge was making the experience consistent, organized and easy for attendees.
What I owned.
I coordinated event marketing production and vendor management, from artwork and printing to attendee-facing communications. This included banners, directional signage, printed boards, name badges, handouts, branded swag and promotional merchandise. I worked across suppliers, production timelines, approvals and delivery requirements.
How we tackled it.
- Managed printing and production for banners, signs, event boards, badges, handouts, branded swag and promotional merchandise.
- Coordinated vendors and suppliers for production, approvals, deadlines and delivery so materials were ready for event setup.
- Helped set up an attendee SMS update system, sending regular, roughly hourly messages about the agenda, upcoming sessions and what was happening where.
- Supported event web content and communications while keeping physical and digital information consistent.
- Worked with the team on setup logistics and the overall attendee experience.
What came out of it.
The event brought together print, vendor production, on-site materials and timely SMS communication to help attendees navigate the day. Exact attendance, engagement and commercial results have not been supplied, so none are claimed here.
